An Archived Post to Refresh LockerPhilosophy
This is for those of you who have not been following me for a while and havent ever really read a Lockerphilosophy post. For a while in this blog I used to post longer posts like these, and seeing as I’m not in the mood to rewrite one, heres one of my preferred philosophies taken from the Archive…

We demand that NBC reverse its crazy decision to ‘bench’ Community. The show is the best one on TV and NBC should renew it immediately!

I always had a kind of buried respect and admiration towards writing. You see I loved the arts. Film, music, literature. These three go hand in hand and usually being involved in one means being involved with all three. You have to be. When I first discovered the voice inside…

Wow. How quickly the summer has gone, and the last year, and the last four years. In what feels like the blink of an eye, I’m suddenly getting on a plane to go move away from my childhood home and into College. This abstract, unfathomable idea that I have only heard stories of and wondered about. Now, I’m going there. For the next four years of my life, I’ll be dedicated to...

An extraction of Wisdom. . .teeth.
So tomorrow I am scheduled to go to an oral surgeon and have all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. I’m going under during the procedure, but I’m quite certain the surgery itself is only one of the nasty parts of wisdom teeth extraction. The next few days will certainly be…different from my usual routine. Although not too different, considering most of what I do will involve...

I just need this on my blog, so one day I’ll look back on my archives and see this. Hopefully (or maybe not) it will light a fire under me if I have been slacking in my dream of becoming a writer.

My 800th Post, Marking a Milestone
As per usual style, this post will most likely end up being a self reflective thought generated into some type of long winded essay to myself. But I’ll let it happen anyway.
I’m getting on a plane to go to Alaska on a cruise, for a week and a half, tomorrow afternoon. And yet for some reason, it feels like I’m leaving for a long time, because the real big move is happening in...

A way to get my thoughts together
So its time, I believe its incredibly long overdue for me to get my thoughts out onto paper. Or internet, whatever, same thing. I’ve always found writing my thoughts out and just letting words flow to be cathartic and insightful. Its a form of introspection that not a lot of people get the chance to experience, which is part of why Tumblr is so special in the effect that it can have on me....

The Poet Laureate Graduation Poem
This was the poem that I got to recite as Poet Laureate at my High School Graduation:
Alone we come into this world,
Alone we must depart.
Yet together now we all do sit,
One collective, beating heart.
.
The journey to this moment
Began with but a step
From Kindergarden to heere and now
Our path has already been set
.
Through the trials, fun and games,
The learning and the tears,
We...

High School: Series Finale
Life is going so quickly, it seems. What felt like an event so far ahead it didn’t even need to be thought about is now tomorrow. Tomorrow night I will be graduating from High School, ready to move on from that entire chapter of my life. The scariest part of it all, is that I’m ready for it.
I got the most out of high school, truly, and I don’t regret any of my actions or...

Welcome back to reality
So for the past few days, a week even, I have felt incredibly out of sync with my home life, reality. This was because I had college orientation a week ago, during my last three days of high school. Then, upon arriving, I was so tired because Prom had been a few days before orientation which took a major toll on me because of its amazingness. So for the next two days I stayed home and recuperated....

Midnight in Paris
So I saw the new Woody Allen film, Midnight in Paris, tonight with three of my great friends who I haven’t seen in a while, or ever hung out with combined. It was really fun. First we went to go try and roller blade at Hot Skates while dressed as if it were the 80’s, only to find out there is no skating on Tuesday nights, or weeknights in general. So we disappointedly get into the car...
